About The Workshop

This workshop is a tribute to the influential women throughout history whose stories are often overlooked or absent from traditional history books. It aims to shed light on the profound impact women have had on the development of our societies, cultures, and collective human knowledge.

Participants will embark on a journey through time, exploring the lives, struggles, and triumphs of women who have defied expectations and broken barriers in fields dominated by men. From the ancient scholar Hypatia of Alexandria to the modern feminist Huda Sha’arawi, and the myriad of suffragettes, artists, scientists, and politicians in between, this class seeks to honor their legacy and contributions.

By highlighting these pioneering women, the workshop not only educates but also empowers participants, fostering a deeper appreciation for the critical role women have played—and continue to play—in shaping our world. Join us as we rewrite the course of history, one story at a time, in celebration of all women everywhere.
